Yeah, I really liked her machine.  I did see a hack in some journal recently
for installing Xubuntu in place of Xandros.  Glad to see you got yours
working with a Gnome desktop

While it was a bit small when compared to a Notebook, when compared to
something like a PDA, I think it would win out.  Fit nicely in her purse
(and it was a pretty average size purse, not that I'm really an expert on
the matter) which was a bonus too.  She had added an 8GB card to increase
her storage.  I think it has 3 USB ports and a VGA port as well?  So, if you
were so inclined you could hook up an external mouse, keyboard, monitor,
external hard-drive, printer... whatever.

Thanks for the kind welcomes.  Hadn't realized there was even a LUG in the
QC until my wife stopped by your table at the Ambrose Tech Fair.
