Very nice article, sounds like good potential.
I'm trying to run a program called "Rawr".
http://rawr.codeplex.com/
It comes as a zip file. The site seems to say it was written with .NET and
he is trying to get Linux/Mac to run it with mono. Uh, ok. I used winetricks
to install .NET2.0. I put the file in my Wine directory and tried to install
it. No go (may be a Wine issue). So I extracted it. Made Wine aware of the
two supplied dll's. Wine ran the exe. Program starts but is crippled -
therefore useless.
I would like to run it from mono (it is on my system). I've had a couple of
suggestions from the wine list on how to run a program with mono, but they
didn't work. Could it be so .NET specific that mono won't run it?
Hope all that helps.
Jim.
