Xort.*.log shows no failures. Went through Nvidia's knowledge base, made a
couple of changes in "xorg.conf", nothing.

System boots fine until it gets to Xorg and GDM. Then get black screen. If
go to a different runlevel I get a console, but all of Nvidia's config files
are binary and need a GUI to work. Catch 22.

Don't know what to try next.
