[QCLUG] mediacom problems

In June, Mediacom replaced my Motorola Surfboard with an RCA - claiming that
it was better.  While I have not seen anything better about it, I have
noticed that the web based modem info is not as user friendly as what I grew
accustomed to with the Surfboard.  For those wanting to see the info on
their modem, go to url http://192.168.100.1 from any of the computers in
your LAN.

I just surfed over to http://speedtest.net and performed three tests here
are my results:

Dubuque to Germantown, WI - down:6267kbs  up:851kbs  -

Dubuque to Phoenix, AZ - down:6391kbs  up:880kbs  -

Dubuque to Ft. Lauderdale, FL - down:6772kbs  up:835kbs  -

Average: 6476kbs down / 855kbs up
Should be: 8000kbs down / 512kbs up

The results are not too bad considering what they could be.
