[QCLUG] Newbie having installation errors

 From Luis' statement "I have tried using the whole disc" I had assumed 
that he had already backed up, or lost, all his data.  If he hasn't, 
this would be a must before using fdisk.  Correct me if I'm wrong, If he 
uses fdisk, then uses the partition program on the Ubuntu live CD, or 
some other program, and still has the problem it would have to be some 
other hardware problem or the BIOS settings.
