I've got several of those myself...
Quite a few=2C in fact.

What to do when they threaten to take over your space? Here's a few of my f=
avorites:

reuse - wipe the hd=2C clean the physical machine (fans especially)=2C thro=
w on a lightweight distro for small servers=2C controllers=2C etc. =20
           I'd like to create a Windows VM that works well on old pc+linux =
to give away - maintainance-free pc without the learning=20
           curve.

donate - freecycle.org has a program in the QC=2C but I've never seen any a=
ctivity.

What else do you do?  Surplus shops=2C yard sales=2C art project=2C use as =

while cleaning my basement I've found a few computers that I do not need an=
ymore:  they are up for grabs or will be recycled.

Case/Tower only=2C all disks have been wiped and ready=2C no OS installed=
=2C although they did have various installs of linux -


1)  PIII Celeron 700 Mhz / 256 MB / 40GB CD-ROM/CDRW--- a QLILinux built co=
mputer =3B)
2) Celeron 366 /  256MG CDROM=2CModem=2CNetowrk 13GB HD ?
3) (2) Dell PowerEdge PII 233 128MB ram SCSI Hard drives=2C CDROM=20
