Tonights Meeting - Technology Demo




I'm really glad the lug has been finding it's way to CIPAFilter every other=
 month or so.   The last time we met I just wanted to take the time to chat=
 with people but this time=2C and in the future=2C I'd like to do technolog=
y demo's of some of the equipment and techniques we're using.



For tonight's meeting at CIPAFilter I'm going to be bringing ubiquity bulle=
t for show and tell.   This nifty $39 linux hardware platform contains an i=
ntegrated wireless card=2C antenna connector and ethernet.  My boss would l=
ike me to modify the firmware and get tcpdump running.   I'll do this work =
tonight at the meeting so those who are interested can see how this sort of=
 thing gets done.   I'll compare on contrast the ubiquity firmware manageme=
nt method with what we use at CIPAFilter and show you how to build solid st=
ate linux installs.
