Choosing a meeting place may take some time, so maybe it's time to
continue the discussion.
Here are some random thoughts to get the ball rolling, my thoughts may
be worth what you are paying for them.
The May meeting was held at the Bettendorf Library. There was a small
charge that Jim Hall covered, thanks Jim. I thought the meeting room
served our purpose very well, I hope other people that attend will
add their thoughts.
I really liked the CPIA Filter setup, and the the way we were treated,
but considering that David and Tim are working unpaid overtime to host
us, I really don't know if the CIPA Filter location can be a permanent
solution.
I enjoyed meeting the guys at Augie, but parking was not good, and
there may be a problem with an outside group meeting there long term.
At the last meeting, I brought up the idea of rotating the meeting
sites. Jim Hall expressed his opinion that it was very important to be
constant as to where we meet. I admit Jim Hall has a valid point, I
will let Jim speak for himself and elaborate more on this point.
Before we vote perhaps we should give it a few days for every one to
read their e-mail, and to give everyone a chance to add their
thoughts. The more input the better! And after all that, we may only
have one option any way.
