I'm not going to argue the pro's/cons of anyone particular hosting. In my
experience using any shared hosting environment is a bad idea.

That being said I run a few low traffic domains on 3iX.org for $12/year. 2
years is $23.

40gb web space
100gb transfer
can only host 1 domain, 20 sub domains
2 sql db's
runs on apache/Red Hat
