For WOW specifically, I would look into getting a Battle.net
Authenticator.  It's a one-time passkey generator very similar to the
ones used by etrade, paypal, and various other financial sites.

You type in your username and password, followed by a one-time code
generated by the device.  The code generated is only good for 30
seconds.  Without the code, you can't log in without answering a bunch
of security questions and jumping through additional hoops.

The point of the device is to make it significantly more difficult for
someone to log in to your account even if they have your username and
password.
