That is exactly what I am saying. The hotplug devices are setup with in the=
device. for instance a hard drive enclosure that you can remove drives fro=
m. With a scanner you have to have it plugged in when you boot your machine=

If you turn off or unplug a scsi device you need to reboot to make it work.=

t the card? The card initializes at boot. OK, fine. Or are you saying that =
unpluging the device (scanner) kills the bus? If so, then how do hotplug SC=
SI drives work? I found lots of tools for that.<br>
