<div dir="ltr">Im using a Nvidia 7600GT PCI-E. It works great in ubuntu! I'm able to use the compositing effects and 3d games. Works great for wine, too. I would defiently reccomend this, especially since most of these older cards are below $100. Nvidia, in my experience, has better linux support. Even the dual-head setup was easy with nvidia-settings (installable with apt-get). Good Luck!<br>

Do the specs match what you need? To get it near your price point? Maybe. Lots of Google.<br>
