<p>You are correct that most of the that stuff is a higher level Admin'=
s job but we are limited to $15-$18 p/hr for the position and we realize th=
at at that salary that most likely they will not be proficient in all or ev=
en most of those areas. We want the person to be aware though that it=
will be a challenging position with a very high learning curve. Ther=
e will be room for advancement in the future... we expect the IT staff to d=
ouble here in the next year...  the new person will need to be f=
amiliar with Gentoo linux and general administration on a Gentoo system suc=
h as portage, manual source builds, configuration using VI/nano or your fav=
orite console text editor, kernel configuration, user management, etc... an=
d atleast some college or experience with OOP... the rest we fully ex=
pect to train on, but a general knowlege of what they are and how the=
y go together would definitly be helpful...</p>
