<p>You are correct that most of the that stuff is a higher level Admin's jo=
b but we are limited to $15-$18 p/hr for the position and we realize that a=
t that salary that most likely they will not be proficient in all or even m=
ost of those areas. We want the person to be aware though that it wil=
l be a challenging position with a very high learning curve. There wi=
ll be room for advancement in the future... we expect the IT staff to doubl=
e here in the next year... the new person will need to be famil=
iar with Gentoo linux and general administration on a Gentoo system such as=
portage, manual source builds, configuration using VI/nano or your favorit=
e console text editor, kernel configuration, user management, etc... and at=
least some college or experience with OOP... the rest we fully expect=
to train on, but a general knowlege of what they are and how they go=
together would definitly be helpful...</p>
