Since nobody has had any further suggestions or issues on the topic =
of<BR>
where to meet, I would like to propose we take a vote. While =
there<BR>
are several issues we would like to address, such as meeting =
content,<BR>
websites, and the like, the future location of our meetings takes<BR>
priority. Lets keep this vote constrained to 2 proposals.<BR>

Motion 1: We will alternate meeting locations between CIPA Filter =
and<BR>
the Bettendorf Library. The odd/even parity will be decided by =
the<BR>
first available date of the Library. (Hopefully September?). It =
was<BR>
mentioned by Dave that CIPA would be happy to host us, but they are<BR>
only able to make a bi-monthly commitment. This has nothing to =
do<BR>
with content, and is purely about the physical location we will be<BR>
meeting at.<BR>
<BR>
Motion 2: CIPA has kindly invited us to use their facilities until =
we<BR>
can figure out what to do about the library. While we appreciate =
the<BR>
hospitality, to give CIPA a break while we get the library (or<BR>
wherever we decide), it was suggested that the August 10th meeting =
be<BR>
a "Social Gathering" at Bent River in Moline, due to excellent =
Tuesday<BR>
food/drink specials. Since they serve food, you do not need to be =
21<BR>
to attend. There was talk about making this an annual event, but =
I<BR>
would like this vote to be for 1 time only. If it is well =
received,<BR>
we can look at having an annual social meeting (this also buys us a<BR>
year to argue/decide).<BR>

Voting will be handled in this thread. Simply respond with your =
vote<BR>
(yes or no) for either or both options. If you have any =
questions,<BR>
comments, or concerns, please post them under another thread.<BR>

The vote will be a simple majority of the responses. It will end =

July 7th, 2009 at 11:59PM CDT.<BR>
